Memories of the good old days |

| PHILIPSBURG--Gone are the days when the
residents of Grand Case and surrounding areas would be awaken by the
sound of engines roaring and the smell of burning rubber. Those days may
well be gone for ever but thanks to Neutral News, the memories will
remain for ever as we have manage to record a great deal of the drag
racing action on St.Maarten. The first ever sporting website on the island was launched in August 1999, by Neutral News member Antonio "Teacha" Aventurin. This website was launched under the name SXMSPEED and featured race videos, pictures, stats, message board, etc. Many of you never got the opportunity to view that website, Neutral News has therefore decided to dive into our video archives and republish some of the old action footage and pictures. |
